Liberated from the heft of traditional camera gear, I’ve embraced the sleek, pocket-sized freedom of the iPhone 16 Pro to reimagine my art. Transitioning from a Sony mirrorless system to this unassuming device has allowed me to get closer to my subjects without the weight—literally or figuratively—of bulky equipment. On the streets, the iPhone lets me move unnoticed, capturing raw, intimate gestures and fleeting scenarios that might otherwise elude a larger, more conspicuous setup.
My motto, “I turn people into art,” guides every shot I take. Sourcing imagery primarily from street photography, I use techniques like Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) to inject dynamism into my frames. With the iPhone, I’m able to blend spontaneity with artistry, weaving ordinary moments into visual narratives that challenge perception.
AI often plays a pivotal role in my work, offering tools to reinterpret initial captures and push the boundaries of storytelling. By merging traditional street photography with AI-driven enhancements, I create whole new worlds inspired by the everyday. In post-processing, I rely on Photoshop, Luminar Neo, and other tools to refine my vision, layering textures and tones to elevate the mundane into the extraordinary.
Ultimately, my mission is to take what’s overlooked—quiet, unassuming scenes—and transform them into something immersive and otherworldly. With the iPhone, I’ve found a means to stay light, nimble, and limitless in my creative exploration, unlocking new ways to capture and craft the art of the streets.
My work is available for licensing and as signed, limited edition prints.
