If you’ve landed here, you’re probably new to my site—and maybe to me. Let’s fix that.

I’m Craig Boehman, a Mumbai-based fine art photographer. What does that mean? Good question. Simply put, my art is rooted in photography, with most of my limited edition prints emerging from street photography, a genre I’ve been passionate about for years. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2015, ever since one of my images landed on a magazine cover. Since then, I’ve built a career capturing and creating, offering photographic services, and pushing my artistic boundaries along the way.

But photography isn’t my only medium. I’m also a writer—or at the very least, someone who loves to put thoughts into words. Many of my images come with deep-dive captions, behind-the-scenes stories, and commentary that brings them to life. My blog archives stretch back more than three years, packed with insights, reflections, and creative explorations. If you haven’t browsed them yet, you might want to start.

Now, about this newsletter.

After experimenting with platforms like Substack and Medium, I’ve decided that my website is the best home for it. No third-party paywalls. No algorithm-driven distractions. Just direct updates, straight from me to you. There’s no gimmicky subscription model, no exclusive “perks” to bait you in—just my work, which I hope you’ll enjoy as much as I do creating it.

What to Expect

All newsletters are for subscribers only—a space beyond public updates, built for those who actually want to engage with my work on a deeper level.

This isn’t just about a monthly newsletter or the occasional marketing push for my limited edition prints and workshops—though, let’s be real, you’ll get those at least a dozen times a year. But I want this to be more than that.

Here, you’ll find exclusive blog posts (or articles, as I still like to call them) diving into photography, art, AI, poetry, and everything in between. I’ll share the thoughts and behind-the-scenes stories that don’t make it into my public blogs. This is where I can be more unfiltered, direct, and personal.

I also want this to be interactive. I’ll run polls, ask for feedback, and take requests. Maybe there’s a topic you’d like me to explore—whether it’s photography techniques, artistic process, AI in creative work, or something entirely different. Consider this a two-way street.

A newsletter should be more than just another email—it should be a real connection between artist and audience.
