FAQs
-
First and foremost, my Mumbai photo workshops are for those who love street photography and taking pictures of people. Most of my clients are seasoned photographers who have all the right gear and know how to use it. They just need a guide to show them around and to help them get great shots. But I also get the occasional beginner, which I’ll discuss later.
-
Photographers who prefer tourist sites and taking pictures only of architecture and objects - or anything but people.
-
Two main things. There are no local operators that run my itineraries, and nor would they be capable of it. That’s because I cater to private and small groups and this enables us to travel more fluidly between destinations in an efficient and timely manner.
Two, I offer my itineraries for free. If you look at any of my packages, I tell you exactly what we’re doing and where we’re going. You’re free to use the information I provided to see these places on your own. -
No. I only speak English. The language barrier is at a bare minimum when it comes to photographing people in public spaces in India. Or anywhere else in the world, in my opinion.
-
Absolutely. If there are critical details that you need for documentary work or other journalistic pursuits, I can hire a local speaker for a fee.
Do we really need one otherwise? No. -
Yes. I’m always eager to help you learn how to use your camera and how to do street photography so that you can get some great shots. It’s best that you tell me your camera model in advance though so that I can better prepare if need be.
-
For the majority of my workshops, we start out at sunrise and end by noon. This can be anywhere from 5 to 6 hours, depending on our actual starting time. Other workshops have set durations.
-
Payment is to be made in full via services like Paypal, PayTM, GooglePay, or by credit or debit cards. I’ll also accept Bitcoin and Ethereum.
-
My photography workshops are completely non-changeable and non-refundable. I highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance in the event that you have to cancel.
