About Traffic Buddies
This piece captures the pulse of city life through a fusion of street photography, Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), and AI-enhanced abstraction. By shifting the camera during exposure, I blur the boundaries between motion and stillness, transforming pedestrians and vehicles into streaks of color and light that merge seamlessly with the urban landscape.
The title Traffic Buddies reflects the fleeting yet intimate connections formed between strangers navigating the same space. Whether waiting at a crosswalk or moving in sync with the crowd, these anonymous figures become momentary companions in a shared rhythm of movement and pause. The structured chaos of city traffic transforms into a layered composition of energy and flow.
My work exists between Impressionism and Expressionism, blending technology with traditional artistic vision. The figures in the scene are not just passersby; they are part of the visual symphony, their blurred forms echoing the fluidity of urban existence. This approach aligns with my belief that "I turn people into art," capturing not just their presence, but the ever-shifting dynamics of human interaction in the modern city.
