New Prints: DJ in the Desert Series

Artwork by artist Craig Boehman

Music is a big part of my life and I'm always surprised by how little it's a part of others' lives when I come across those odd meetings and gatherings where the music is inappropriately absent from the scene. I'd rather be complaining after such an event that "the music sucked" than have to endure time-space without rhythm and melody. That's because music is so good. And it's also because the shortcomings of people are so grossly exaggerated. Without music, I may as well be alone and in nature, living out a redacted existence until dying of exposure or starvation. Music lovers can relate to all of this, I'm sure. It's also why I'm using music as a theme in my current work. There's more to come.
